
At the Nihon Jujutsu Kobudo Renmei (NJJKR) , which was founded back in 2019, following on from, a small but successful Seminar in Traditional Jujutsu, the organization continues to grow, uniting Martial Artists from around the Globe, in an open and friendly manner. The NJJKR In addition to its, annual spring seminar event, has become a Japanese cultural as well as Martial Arts organisation Still promoting Japanese Koryu Jujutsu and kobudo, but also other Japanese art forms Like, Bonsai, Chado, Iaido, Origami and Shodo, maintaining close links with Japanese Instructors. From time to time the NJJKR organises guest instructors to teach arts under their control. like, tradition weapon schools of Shurikenjutsu and the Japanese police art of control and restraint - Taihojutsu.
At previous NJJKR events, we have been honoured by the presence of various high graded instructors from around the UK including the following Sensei: Peter King 10th Dan Hanshi, Ken Culshaw 9th dan Hanshi, Danny Clarkson 9th Dan, Kirby Watson 9th dan Hanshi, Eric Marshal 8th Dan, Susan king 8th Dan, Ian Griffiths 7th Dan. Many Instructors are well known around the UK Event circuit for their excellent instruction and they are often in high demand.
All representing various Modern and Traditional Schools of Jujutsu Including Ryoi Shinto Ryu, Ryoi Shinto Ryu Sakura Ha, Kaze Arashi Ryu, Muga Mushin Ryu etc
Whilst various organisations like the Meifu Shinkage Ryu and the Nihon taihojutsu renmei are totally independent of the NJJKR, we maintain close links to these organisations, and organise regular seminars with them.
All our events are fully insured, and our events are covered by highly trained, equipped, and experienced first aid staff and the NJJKR Safeguarding lead.
All instructors have DBS Checks.
NJJKR Events are open to all National and international Martial Artists, regardless of affiliation or association, NJJKR Events cover all aspects Japanese culture, including Chado, Origami, Shodo etc.
The NJJKR is unique in many ways including the fact that unlike many other groups, it is run from Bottom to top, with input and technical advice from a group of high graded instructors and Japanese nationals.
